Omnia Khalil joined the Tarek Waly Center in 2009, three years after she graduated from Cairo University  with a BSc in Architecture. She is very proud of her thesis which took place in the Tanneries Quarter of Old Cairo, and was featured at the 2006 Venice Architecture Biennale. Omnia is interested in working in community design development projects, heading the Memphis world Heritage Site Heritage Plan, and analyzing history and discovering ways to deal with the future of the built environment. She participates, when time allows, in competitions, garnering a Citation as Professional in Sham Oasis competition by COSV and Deir Mar Musa al-Habashi. omniaOmnia Khalil
